The Sales and Operations Manager, Drilling and Wells is responsible for managing all operational activity at client/company base or facility. Responsible for developing and maintaining existing relationships with new and existing clients.
Job Description / Position Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships ensuring continuous communication and support throughout the life cycle of any work scope
- Ensure understanding of client requirements and complete all necessary technical and commercial proposals.
- Tender preparation
- Ensure knowledge and skillset is in place to manage all product lines
- Maintain client relationships to ensure future opportunities are identified and secured
- Carry out market analysis to plan areas of growth
- Be available to travel as per the business requirements to grow and support the region
- Plan and coordinate jobs, including preparation of BHA’s, schematics, proposals, programs, mobilisation of personnel and equipment and torque and drag / hydraulics analysis
- Identify opportunities for growth and increase market share and profitability
- Work closely with the Supply Chain, Engineering and Design team to ensure the timely delivery of new technologies to meet the industry demands
- Specific and targeted marketing of new innovations
- Enhance Company profile within the global oil and gas market
- Participate in QHSE activities, including audits, ensure client specific QHSE is followed
Candidate Criteria
- 10+ years oil field experience in drilling/completions
- Knowhow in the expandable technology
- Good knowledge of well construction, well integrity and well intervention
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong relationship building ability
- Organised, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload and work scopes
- Customer focussed
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
- Proven track record in managing and delivering projects, preferably with oil and gas focus
- Experience in providing technical solutions to clients in the Oil and Gas industry
- Proactive approach to sales
